Opening Day Tickets go on sale….SOLD OUT!?!?

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

I am very dissappointed and very upset at the misinformation the Dodgers Organization has been giving out lately.  Their website stated the following:

8:00 a.m. - Gate A autogates open for parking
8:30 a.m. - Each fan receives a numbered wristband
9:30 a.m. - Wristband lottery drawing

I arrived at 8:37 and the gates had just closed “temporarily” because they had “parking problems.”  Wristbands had been handed out and I would later learn they had already called out numbers for the “Green” wristbands.  I receive a “Yellow” wristband when I entered and I didn’t have a clue what was going on.  Mind you, I have been going to this “Opening Day” gathering for the past 5 years and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had.  Poor communication on site, information from the web did not match what action was being taken at the park and I had to go to 3 different employees before I got answers.  Needless to say while I was getting an autograph from Gary Miller (from KCAL 9-TV) they announced Opening Day was “Sold Out” but you could, “…still buy a mini plan that would guarantee you tickets for Opening Day.”  Doesn’t that mean Opening Day isn’t sold out?!?!?  Your thoughts….please!

I have spent about 3 months reading over emails and redesigning DodgerFan805 using ideas and suggestions from all you Dodger Fans…(even some Giants fans) to make DodgerFan805.com more interactive.  Please let me know what you like and dislike about this website.
